Grapes were hand-picked from vines with an average yield of 5.5 tons per hectare, fermented in French oak barrels and underwent partial malolactic fermentation. Matured for 11 months in a combination of 10% new 500-litre French oak barrels and 90% older 500-litre, 300-litre and 225-litre barrels. Bottled in March 2020. Bottled at 13.5%. (Bottle size 750ml)

Nose: Lemon, cut green apples, fresh bread, nuts and a hint of beeswax on the nose.

Palate: The palate is creamy with notes of fresh white flesh fruit on entry such as pear and quince. Mid-palate has great texture that coats the whole palate with subtle notes of brioche.

Finish: Long and lingering, with refreshing acidity balancing the creaminess of the wine. Notes of almonds on the finish.
